Swiss Air Baggage Policy
The Carry-on Allowance at Swiss International
- One personal item – free, one standard carry-on bag: free for economy passengers, two standard carry-on bags: free for business, and first passengers are allowed at Swiss air.
- The size allowed for the personal bag is 15.7x11.8x3.9 inches (40x30x10 cm)
- The size allowed for standard bag 21.6 x15.7x 9 inches (55x40x23 cm), and weight 8 kg is allowed.
- An infant with a 10 % ticket fee has an allowance of 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 23 kg and one folding stroller.
Checked Baggage Allowance at Swiss International
- Baggage should not exceed 62 linear inches, which is 158 cm width+ Height + depth.
- For European routes:- No baggage included in light fare class, one piece of 50 pounds(23 kg) in classic and flex fare. Two pieces at 70 pounds (32 g) each allowed in business fare.
- For Intercontinental routes:-No baggage allowed in light fare class, one-piece 50 pounds (23 kg) allowed in the Swiss economy. Two pieces at 70 pounds (32 g) each allowed in Swiss business fare. Three pieces at 70 pounds (32 kg) each are allowed in Swiss First fare.
- Increased baggage allowances for specific routes
- Economy class passengers can also benefit higher checked baggage limit of up to 2 x 23 kg on some routes.
Swiss Air Cancellation Policy
- If you have made a reservation seven days before the departure, then As per Swiss airlines cancellation policy, you can cancel your ticket within 24 hours of booking with a full refund.
- If you cancel the ticket after the expiry of the 24-hour cancellation policy, the airlines will forefeet the ticket fare.
- As per 24-hour cancellation policies, if you have a non-refundable ticket and cancel the same-day booking, you will get a full refund.
- The airline will let you change until three hours after departure, only if the next fight will not be within 72 hours after departure.
- If the airline canceled its fight or delayed the flight for three or more, you will be entitled to get a full refund.
- When the flight is canceled, you can ask for a full refund, or you can also ask to reschedule your trip.
- You will have to pay a cancellation fee if the ticket is canceled after 24 hours of booking.
